Art & Design DepartmentOur in-house graphics team utilizes computers as well as their own personal talents to create unique and original
designs for each customer. Whether an art concept comes from a hand drawing or a complex graphic, our team can make the design work for
any embellishment needed. Our designs have received several creative awards for special events from the International Festival and
Events Association as well as top design and screen printing awards from the College Book Store Association.
Art Requirements - For Customer Supplied ArtOur art department operates with a Macintosh computer system. We evaluate
all incoming art by print industry standards. Art charges and/or additional production time may apply when supplied art does not
meet these standards.
We can also accept both Mac and PC formatted files on CD's as well as emailed files. Files must be in one of the following programs:
Send all files as vector based artwork, created in a drawing program such as Adobe Illustrator, Freehand or Coral Draw. Export files
as .ai or .eps (a jpg file placed into illustrator is not acceptable)
Fonts must be converted to outlines (curves).
Artwork created in Photoshop or other related paint programs usually needs to be recreated for our separation purposes and art charges may be incurred.
Tiff or high resolution jpgs must have a resolution of 300 dpi or greater.
Gif or low resolution jpgs are acceptable due to their low resolution.
